Thwak the Ridgeback ended up being one of those toys that grows on you the longer you spend with it. The firm silicone, the playful ridges, the steady glide, and that squared-off silhouette all came together to make a sculpt that feels intentional and full of personality. Thwak surprised me in all the right ways. It is fun, dependable, textured just enough to stay entertaining, and full of that rowdy orc charm that makes you want to drag it back to camp for another round. If nothing else, testing the Small made it clear that this sculpt has plenty more to offer when it grows up a bit. I am already eyeing the regular size for a future matchup, so I can really let the ridgeback show off. Consider this my warmup round with an orc who clearly has bigger ambitions, and lucky for him, so do I.
